The highly anticipated second golf course at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeenshire, Scotland — the MacLeod Course — is due to open in summer 2025. This addition marks a major expansion of the resort, which originally debuted in 2012, and aims to establish what the Trump Organisation calls "The Greatest 36 Holes in Golf."
Designed by Martin Hawtree, with contributions from Christian Lundin and Christine Fraser, the MacLeod Course will wind through a variety of landscapes, including coastal dunes, heathland, and wetland areas. Emphasising sustainability, the development has prioritised low-impact construction using materials sourced directly from the site.
The course's opening will coincide with another major milestone: Trump International Scotland will host the 2025 Scottish Championship on the DP World Tour, scheduled for August 7–10. This will be the venue's first time hosting a top-tier European Tour event, featuring a prize fund of $2.75 million.
